Born In Katol In Nagpur District Of Maharashtra Shri Balwant Khorgade Is Better Known As Swami Budhadev Bharati Since 21st March 1983 The Date He Joined The Osho Clan. Since College Days He Showed Keen Interest In Dramatic Performances. He Showed Histrionic Talent Having Acted In About Twenty-five Plays And Directed Five. Most Of The Five Plays He Directed Have Been Staged In Maharashtra State Drama Festivals. …And God Became A Stone Is A Philosophical And Satirical Play Which Deals With The Crux Of Indian Philosophy Of Yoga And Meditation Which Leads One To The Path Of Realization And Enlightenment Long Back Attained By Mahavir And Buddha And Osho. This Drama Was Staged Twice On 2nd Jan 2002 And 16th Jan 2003 In Scientific Hall, Nagpur During Maharashtra State Drama Festivals. He Got Second Prize For Excellent Light Effects And Merit Award For Quality Acting In The First Performance. In His Second Performance In 2003 He Got First Prize For Light Effects And Silver Medal For Acting.

His Another Play Mukti Path Was Staged In 2005 And He Received Best Script Award Of Maharashtra Government.

About The Play

The Play Is About A Few People Who Cleverly Seek God’s Blessings Against One Another’s Interest. Eventually God Himself Is In A Dilemma And Becomes A Stone. The Pundit Exploits This Situation Cleverly And Installs Himself As A Middle Man Between God And The People And Starts Exploiting Them. There Is One Thief Who Is Full Of Energy And Good Worth. Circumstance Forces Him To Commit Theft. One Night While Fleeing With Treasure From The Temple He Stumbles And The Treasure Gets Scattered. He Finds Yamraj (death) Before Him And Realizes The Utter Worthlessness Of The Wealth. He Gets Awakened And Becomes Sakshi Of Himself. He Then Realizes That There Is No Difference Between Him And God’s Creation. He Finds God In Everyone And Everything.

Born In Khagaria, Bihar In 1964 Dr. Sunil Kumar Navin Graduated From T.N.B. College, Bhagalpur And Did M.A. From The Department Of English, Bhagalpur University, Bhagalpur. He Has Been Teaching English In Nabira Mahavidyalaya, Katol (Nagpur) For The Last 21 Years. He Did His Ph.D. In 2000. Since 2004 He Has Been Supervising Scholars For Ph.D. Work. So Far Six Scholars Have Been Awarded Ph.D. Under His Supervision. He Completed Two UGC Sponsored Minor Research Projects, One On “Problems In Acquisition Of L2 (Eng.) Among Students In Rural Parts Of Vidarbha: Reasons And Remedies”in 2008 And The Other On “Expression Of Social Realism In Shiv K. Kumar’s Novels” In 2010. His Research Articles Have Been Published In Many Reference Books. He Has Presented Papers In State, National And International Level Seminars And Conferences. He Organized An “Interface” With Indian English Writer, Padmabhushan Prof. Dr. Shiv K. Kumar During 52nd All India English Teachers’ Conference (8-10 Jan. 2008).His Poems Have Been Published In Anthologies Like Spark, Heart Throbs And A Posy Of Poesy.

His Poetry Collection I Will Ride My Cycle To Schoolhas Been Published In 2010. He Edited Volume Ofcritical EssaysMultiplexity Of Postcolonial Literatureandshort-story CollectionClosed Doors And Other Storieshave Been Published By Authorspress, New Delhi In 2010 And 2012 Respectively.

Currently, He Is Chairman, Board Of Studies (Languages In Science), RTM Nagpur University, Nagpur As Well As A Member On Academic Council, RTM Nagpur University, Nagpur.
