Manjula Asthana Mahant, is a bilingual poet, author, translator and editor. Holds MA in Hind and Sociology, Graduation in English and Sanskrit and Bed in Sangeet Prabhakar. A teacher by profession, she has worked as senior lecturer in Collage, and worked as a school principal too. Presently she is working as Editor of ICMDR Hindi section.

A friendly, polite, positive, loving person, hardworking and fighter. She had keen interest to read and, write from childhood. Used to paint too. Got space in school magazine, newspapers etc. Wrote and solely alone directed few one act plays also. Serious social subjects put in a comic manner.

She published the Abhishap Damini Ka (translation), Saanjha Sanklan (gazals, short stories) and Muktak (dealing with many subjects of interest)

She has submitted my poems for many upcoming national and international anthologies.

She was selected a woman of excellence amongst 25 women of excellence.

She is the Nominee of Laureate Rabindra Nath Tagore Award, and Recipient of international award Star Ambassador Of World Poetry and Art, Recipient of Bharat Ratna Atal Bihari Bajpai Award along with other samman patras.

She always give positive messages through her creations. Duringlong time of being with young generation, always tried to inculcate human values along with culturalimpact, talked about personality development, discipline. And to have an open vision.

Giving emphasis on personality development, prope reducation and open vision for healthy growth. Inculcating kindness, submissiveness, taking care of Nature too, in youngsters.

She stay with her daughter Karishma Mahanti, son Manish Dev Mahanti and husband Mr. Satyendra Dev Mahanti at Bhubaneshwar, Odisha.
