Dr Mala Sharma is doctorate in Economics. She currently holds the position of Principal at Government Arts College, Mandal, and District Ahmedabad. She was Director of Chimanbhai Patel Institute of Business Administration affiliated to Gujarat University.She is author in number of textbooks used in syllabus of Gujarat University in the subject of economics. She has written number of research papers in different National and International Journals. Her area of interest are developmental economics and women related issues.
Dr. Satyajeet S Deshpande is PhD in Economics. He has also done his Executive Program in Business Management from IIM-Calcutta. He is the Principal of J G College of Commerce, Ahmedabad. His core area of research is ‘Tribal and Rural Development through Voluntary Agencies’. He has written and presented many research papers in national and international journals and conferences.
Dr. Sonal Bhatt is currently working as an Associate Professor in the Post Graduate Department of Economics, Sardar Patel University, Vallabh Vidyanagar. Dr. Bhatt holds a Ph.D. which she pursued on a Fellowship from the Indian Council of Social Science Research, New Delhi; an M.Phil. degree in Public Finance and a Gold Medal in M.A. (Economics) by Sardar Patel University. She has also passed the UGC-NET examination.She is a two-time awardee (2008 and 2016) of the NUFFIC Fellowship by the government of Netherlands to pursue Short Courses at the UNESCO-IHE Institute for Water Education in the Netherlands. She is also a five-time awardee of “Shri Dadabhai Navroji Prize” for publication of research papers by the Sardar Patel University. She secured the Second Prize for her research paper at the Fifth Refresher Training held at the National Institute of Public Finance and Policy, New Delhi, in 2009. Her research interests include the economics and management of the natural resources as well as public policy and developmental issues. She has twenty one research papers and six research projects to her credit.
