Palestine is a country which has seen much devastation since 1948, that now it is struggling with the
status of statehood. The forceful creation of Israel in 1948 had left millions of Palestinians homeless who are still living as refugees or immigrants in other lands. With further the expansion of Israeli territories in 1967 had resulted in much suffering for the Palestinians who are left with no choice than to be an expatriate or a refugee. And the remaining Palestinians who are still living in their lands are suffering under the Zionist regime because anytime, any atrocity can be inflicted on them in the name of security.
Day and night they have to face many difficulties and embarrassment and their life seems to be hell as they are living in open jail. They are like second class citizens in their own homeland. Living in such
miserable circumstances, these Palestinians dream to get back their land which they had to leave due to uneven circumstances they are been forced to live in.
This book is an attempt to depict the sufferings of the Palestinians since 1948 till now. Moreover it is also reflecting the voice of Palestinian writers or Palestinian narratives in Literature. The current anthology is featuring sixteen articles from 9 countries including; India, Pakistan, Palestine, Iraq, Saudi Arabia, Yemen, Tunisia, China, United Kingdom. The book engages readers with Palestinian literary works and will be useful for students and scholars of both Palestinian and English literature.
About the Editors
Dr. Shamenaz is the Author, Co-Author, Editor and Translator of 14 Books. Being a prolific writer, she has a specialization in South Asian Women Writers, Indian Partition Literature and New Literature. She is currently teaching English Literature at Rajarshi Tandon Mahila Mahavidhyalaya, Allahabad. She has taught English Literature and Language at S. S. Khanna Girls’ Degree College, Ewing Christian College, Allahabad University and AIET, Allahabad with a D. Phil in English Literature from the University of Allahabad, India. She has professional experience for more than 16 years. She has contributed poems to many international Poetry Magazines & Anthologies. She is a member of the Editorial Board of many international journals, including Angloamericanae Journal (Macedonia), KJHSS (Azerbaijan) Anglisticum (Macedonia), IJRHS (Jordan), Cyber Literature: An Online Journal, The Context, English Literator Society, Literary Miscellany, Research Access & Expressions, Levure Litteraire (France-Germany-USA).

Dr. Ahmed Saad Aziz, lecturer in Department of English/College of Arts/ University of Al-Qadisiyah /Iraq. Specialization in:Postcolonial Studies, Feminist Theory, Arab Writers in Diaspora, Minority Studies, Contemporary world literature, Literature on before and Post 9/11 and Trauma studies. He has completed PhD in English Literature from EFLU, Hyderabad /India and has a teaching experience of 10 years. He has presented papers in many international conferences and has published some papers in reputed journals worldwide.
