Debasish Samantaray is a fictionist of the young genre easily recognizable in the crowd. He writes both in English and Odia. His distinction comes from his writings which carry much of intellectual value. He has five short story collections Satamuhan, Bhirnnaswara, Raha, Parba, Chhakisuna and three novels Epate Sepate, Binduru Bruta, Bhida Bhitaru Jane to his credit. Debasish got accolades from different organisations across the state for his literary feat. Besides, Debasish is a great organiser of literary events.
