Book Description
About the Illustrator
Neetu Malik considers illustrating this book, a joyous journey which she had never imagined she would travel and that too, as a senior citizen!
She has been fond of sketching since childhood, a blissful phase of her life where her doting parents religiously took her to the then epic “Shankar’s On The-Spot” painting competition but she never did them proud by winning any prizes!!
Life chugged along with studies taking priority culminating with an economics honours degree from LSR Delhi, leading to the logical banking career of over 25 years in the management cadre of the Union Bank of India. Off and on were phases of oil painting, some sketching, but nothing serious.
This has been her first attempt at sharing with the world, her love for sketching brought or rather, pushed to the fore, by her daughter Vyomi. Through her explicit pen drawings, she has tried to capture the essence of each of the poems so that the reader can enjoy these poetry and haiku shots, in their entirety.

A Vice President in an International Bank, Vyomi is passionate about finance by day.
By night she is an internationally published poetess who loves to indulge in her love for poetry and story-telling. Writing of every kind is her daily spiritual routine as it helps her find her inner Zen.
Her Haikus and three line poems have been published in Haiku Journal, Three Line Poetry, Poetry Quarterly (Prolific Press publication based out of the United States of America). Her poems and short stories have been published in numerous anthologies including 'The Other' by Storymirror, New Delhi and 'She the Shakti' by Authorspress, New Delhi.
She is also the recipient of the Bharat Award for Literature – International Short Story Contest 2018 (4th position), 2019 (10th position).
This is her maiden collection of poems.
