Emotions are an integral part of human beings, which also seems to make us vulnerable in the most unexpected situations. This book is about my journey through all the curvy lanes of life, which is described in its different phases. At each point, the experiences felt totally unimportant, hence the word - “trinkets”. Even though it initially seemed to be of very little value, I found these trinkets to be the key to know more about myself and the world. Each of these are obviously felt in different ways and in measures, which is the reason why they are described as trinkets of different kinds. Each of these trinkets playing their role as they pave the way to a person’s destiny, are quite important even though they always seem to be of very less value. Conveying the ideas and emotions in each of these category is done through poetry, along with visual outlines for many - made by the poet. The idea is quite simple - to convey the thoughts in the poet’s mind as precisely as possible.
An engineer by profession, Joel has always had a keen interest in the literary world. Based in Hyderabad, India, he runs his own startups that focus on solving ecommerce challenges, product design and modern literature. He completed his schooling in New Delhi, where he first began his venture into the literary world by writing poems for his class board. He also has a very keen interest in learning new languages and understanding the different types of human intelligence. He strongly believes that humanity will always have the potential to save every problem that they ever come across. Even though pessimism has been his approach to become better in life, he tries to point out in this book how this affects the lives around us as well.
