Mahatma Gandhi Education and Welfare Society, Mumbai sponsored Phrasal King Arbind Choudhary National Poetry Award 2017 that has been instituted for the promotion of Indian English poetry in general and the Phrasal Movement in particular has made Dr. Choudhary the champion of the champions so far phrasal whirlwind in Indian English poetry is concerned. Arbind Kumar Choudhary who has been awarded with the crown of the Ambassador of Peace by the president Gabrielle Simond of Geneva based duo organisations — Universal Ambassador Peace Circle and Universal Peace Embassy has been popularly called the Phrasal King and the founding father of Indianised version of Arbindonean Sonnets in Indian creative milieu. His ten poetry collections and more than sixty interviews published in Malta, Romania, Albania and various other countries have persuaded the IWA, the IRTC and the IPA to award him in America, China and India.
