Govindankuttyis a poet who writes occasionally, bothin Malayalam, his mother tongue, and in English. This is his second collection of poems in English, the first being “When it rained nectar”. For him poetry is the charm, the fragrance, of the lotus flower with thousand petals blooming in the skull of the poet, with its stem rising from his heart.

A.P. Govindankutty (b.15-5-1942) hails from Palakkad District of Kerala State, India; writes off and on both in Malayalam and English. This is his second collection of poems in English. His first collection When It Rained Nectar was published in June 2016.
