J.M. Coetzee is the South African novelist and Nobel Laureate. He uses postcolonial issues in his fiction. He is very familiar with the historical, political and social aspects in the contemporary South African society. Coetzee locates himself in the complex historical past and the social present of the postcolonial South Africa. This book explores the postcolonial issues, transformation of colonial culture from the novels of Coetzee. It also focuses on the effects of colonialism, the socio-political and cultural aspects of postcolonial South Africa.
