Going through the book, one will have an idea about the unique statue of Rudra Shiv at Tala, which is one of it’s kind in the world. Worship of Mahisasur, in some villages of Korba and Bilaspur is also rare, in other parts of the country. The thrills of exploring a tiger at Achanakmar, to offer prayer and seek blessings at the temples of Ratanpur and Mallhar, boating in the crystal clear water at Golden islands (Mauritius of the state) In Hasdeo river and Scenic beauty of Ghaiturgarh fort (Kashmir of the state) at korba in the rains, will attract any visitor.

The miracle at Kabir Ghobutara, i.e., surfacing of whitish elements in it’s bottom, every day at a particular time from an unknown source in rocks will astonish any one. The Kosa silk of the area is the only fabric in the world, which is produced by thigh reeling yarn. The beautiful handloom weaved Kosa Sarees and Dhokra items of Ektal village in Raigarh, will be a prized possession for any one.

As no one can replicate Bilaspur Division of Chhattisgarh, without visit and seeing the place in one's own eye, the author also requests, one and all, to visit at least once, to this beautiful area, to have a feel of the place and to have a life time experience.

The author was General Manager of PNB, director of EVERESTBANK LTD., NEPAL and Ex. Director in the boards of manycompanies. Presently, the author is engaged as a financial advisor in REC Power Distribution Company Ltd. (fully-owned subsidiary of REC LTD., A GOVT. OF INDIA ENTERPRISE).
