Inked Reveries: Thoughts poured down in ink is an anthology of twenty poems in English by the budding writer Arunima Arun. The poems are mainly based on the themes of womanhood,human relationships,interrogations to mankind,harmony and nature.These includes poems written by the author from childhood to the present times. The frank language, and transparent expressions of author’s thoughts are scribbled down as poems.Author believes that when thoughts are transformed into words, poetry is born.

Arunima. A, native of Cherthala, near Aleppey, Kerala is pursuing Bachelor’s degree in English Literature, Communication and Journalism at MES College,Marampally,Alwaye. She writes poetry since school days and has won many prizes in versification from school to University level competitions. She has published around seven poems in newspapers, and being an ardent fan of Paulo Coelho, she has written a poem titled as “ODE TO COELHO”for which he thanked her in his official twitter page... She reflects her concern for womanhood throgh her writings. She also writes short stories apart from poetry. She doesn’t considerpoetry as simply play of words, and doesn’t promote the compulsoryusage of rhyme schemes that she believes,itruins the real essence of poetry. She is an alumna of Kendriya Vidyalaya Cochin Port Trust and St. Mary Of Leuca, Senior Secondary School, Pallippuram.
