The society today is in unrest for the sense of inequality among the people. Liberty, equality and fraternity should go together to witness peaceful concerns and harmonious relations among themselves with concerns for themselves. They should have liberty to enjoy equality for the individual welfare. They should at the same time mind that the sense of fraternity promotes love and affection for each other. The protagonist of the novel, Rajarishi in Quest of Peace, Prof Rajarishi is in quest of peace at every level and so he fights sans the means of violence for equality among all people. He is a man with modified sensibility and shaped personality for a committed responsibility in the welfare of the society he lives in; as he faced untoward incidents and had bitter experiences in his student life. He, therefore, functions as a compass to lead the society to the destination of solution to the wild-complexity of problems.
It is a novel with a novel approach to the establishment or the restoration of peace. It is in a judicious or tremendous mixture of fact and fiction; fanciful expectations and real happenings; etc. to mark a clear-cut distinction. The novel is unique in its approach with a series of speeches of Rajarishi in quest in the process of reformation to mark novelty in variety.
It is nothing but peace, every individual or every nation craves ever for the well-being of every individual and the welfare of every nation for the prevalence of peace in the world, universal peace.
