Shyamolima Saikia
Shyamolima Saikia obtained her Master of Arts and M.Phil degree from Dibrugarh University. Presently, she is working as an Assistant Professor in the Department of English, Gargaon College, Sivasagar, Assam. Prior to this post, she was serving as a lecturer in the Centre for Juridical Studies, Dibrugarh University. She has also worked as an Academic Counsellor in the Directorate of Distance Education, Dibrugarh University. Besides presenting several papers in various National as well as International Seminars, she has also contributed various articles and research papers to journals and edited books. In addition, she hasworked as editorial member of books as well as journals. She has to her credit several poems and prose pieces which have been published in regional dailies, magazines and journals. Furthermore,she is the member ofIACLALS(Indian Association for Commonwealth Literature and Language Studies), North East India History Association and North East India Research Forum.
