Prof. Lachhman Parasram Hardwani (born in 1942) is a Sindhi writer, translator, lexicographer, linguist and theatre artist. A supporter and promoter of Sindhi Devanagari script, he has published 86 books which include 10 dictionaries, translations of Dasbodh, Dnyaneshwari and the Shlokas of the Great Sindhi poet SAMI (up to 2015). He believes, that like Hindi and Urdu,Arabic Sindhi and Devanagiri Sindhi are two different languages from the point of view of scripts, grammar, vocabulary and linguistics.
