Sahej Marwah
Sahej Marwah is not a conundrum. She's an amalgamation of ideas distilled into an honest, lucid statement. Her poetry, simple and unencumbered, echoes its creator. While she is still in college, she has accumulated experience in the advertising world, media, and the performance space. She also creates art, often painting her poems and writing her paintings. Her work, across various media, underlines her need to search for the clearest, most honest perspective.
Her abilities are geared towards telling the truth, and she does so otherwise too, her grit belied by a gentle voice, and a gentler persona. A wicked, silver tipped tongue, and a brilliant, sapphire encrusted mind all work together to wind beautiful narratives. She is, at her most basic core, a problem solver.
Sahej is currently pursuing her Bachelor of Arts from Jai Hind College, Mumbai. Rhythm in Blues is her first collection.
