Dr. Molly Joseph was born in 1956 as the daughter of teacher parents, the late M.M. Joseph and the late Annamma Joseph at Kongorpilly, Kerala. She grew up among three brothers, got married to Mr.Xavier Gregory, and has a full-fledged family, son Greg Xavier (wife Meera, grandson Noah) and daughter Sneha Xavier (husband Binil, grandson Aiden). She had her M.A. in English Language and Literature, took M.Phil, had her Doctorate in Post War American Poetry and had specialization PGDTE from IFLU Hyderabad. Dr. Molly Joseph retired as the HOD of the Dept. of English, St.Xaviers College, Aluva and now works as Professor in Communicative English at FISAT, Mookannoor. She writes travelogues and poems; the first collection of poems – Aching Melodies was published in 2013.
