Dr Sudhir Narayan Singh, a Banaras Hindu University alumnus is a bilingual poet, editor, critic and short story writer. He started his career, teaching English to visually challenged students. Later on, rendered services at various colleges & institutes of Uttar Pradesh, Haryana, and Punjab as English faculty and ELT-Trainer. Presently working as Assistant Professor, English and Communication Skills, at The Technological Institute of Textile and Sciences, Haryana, India. He enabled first visually challenged student to get admitted to Faculty of Arts and Faculty of Social Sciences, B.H.U., Varanasi.
Dr. Singh acted as resource person at UGC-ASC, GJUS&T, Hisar, Haryana. He attended over 50 national/international seminars/conferences; and chaired technical sessions in them including IIM-Banglore, BITS Pilani, SRM University and many other institutions of repute. His poems appeared in reputed journals like Poets International, Rock Pebbles and in anthologies The Enchanted World, Poets' Paradise, The Fancy Realm and The Melodies of Immortality. He contributed 49 research articles which are widely published by Indian and foreign publishers and also edited three books Post Feminism in India: Myth or Reality?; Advanced Information Communication Technology in Engineering; and Kyon Jaroori Hain Jaati Unmoolan. Recently coauthored a book with Mr N. K. Chauhan entitled Formal Letters.
