Priyanka Singh
The author of the early poems is a humble city girl with all her dreams, aspirations and doubts, with a zeal to fight and succeed. Then a woman enters her mind and suddenly all the romantic thoughts disappears and her pen becomes mature and she becomes the author of the later poems.
The author’s present occupation is teaching. She is associated with Indira Gandhi National Tribal University, Amarkantak, MP, as an Assistant Professor in the Department of English and Foreign Languages. Apart from pouring her emotions in poetry she has also been actively engaged in research and has authored two books published from UK and Germany on Western Feminist theorists. Some of her poems have been published in English newspapers like Hindustan Times and Northern India Patrika from time to time. She is currently engaged in translating the Baiga Folklore into English.
