Mr. Swaminathan holds a Master’s degree in History, Sociology and Library Science and a Bachelor’s degree in Education. In addition he holds a Post-graduate Diploma in Business Administration. He works as the Principal of Akashaya Academy, a CBSE school in Palani, Tamil Nadu. He worked with top IB schools in India like TISB in Bangalore and Ecole Mondiale in Mumbai. He has published over 40 articles in various Indian and International journals. Three of his articles got published in CENBOSEC, brought out by Central Board of Secondary Education. He writes articles for some of the Indian medical journals. His interest includes Indian history, economics, politics and theory of knowledge. He is an ardent cricket fan. He is very passionate about modern theories on teaching and learning. He also trains teachers in CCE. He loves to read e- books and this book is the culmination of all the fierce debates he had with the co-author during their stay in Mumbai.
