Ayush Jain hails from the small town of Baraut, located in western Uttar Pradesh, at the Haryana border. Presently, he is pursuing MBBS from Subharti Medical College, Meerut.
Coming from a town where people have stereotypic parochial mindsets, Ayush resolved to stand apart and focused on various extra-curricular aspects like adventure sports, travelling, philosophy, reading journals, numismatics and philately; but writing a novel definitely wasn't one of them.
In the year 2008, he shifted to Kota, Rajasthan, to train for the pre-medical entrance competitions from Allen Career Institute. Events unfolded and the 'roller-coaster ride' of the life in Kota inspired him to author a book. And hence, this novel.
