Annapurna Sharma
Annapurna Sharma is an English poet, Editor of Your Space/ Muse India, a UGC approved e-journal, a recipient of Savitribai Phule National Women Achiever Award-2018, a booklover and an avid learner. Writing, a remotest goalpost happened serendipitously. She is adjudged a highly recommended writer in the 4th Bharat Award for Literature (short story contest 2018) by Xpress publications, poiesisonline.com. Her poem is selected for The Voice of Poets, International Award by Verbumlandiart, Italy. Her short stories, articles, poems have appeared in Women’s Era, Reader’s Digest, several online portals, in anthologies A Quick Read compiled by C.A. Simonson, Taj Mahal Review, Glomag, Muse India, The Hans India, Amaravati Poetic Prism 2016& 2017, Chitra Lele’s Oh My Sweetest Love – A Timeless Treasure and WWW Women, Wit & Wisdom – An International Multilingual Poetry Anthology of Women Poets. Her poem about the rivers of the world, Divine Confluence was a part of the speech delivered by Dr. Varsha Das, an eminent writer at a conference collaborated by South Asian University and Dhaka University on Hydro Diplomacy.Her journey of writing started with her articles in Epics of Health, Hygiene and Pollution. Her publishing began with a free eBook for children Rainy flies to the Indian Ocean. With a decade long stint as a nutrition lecturer she pitches in occasionally with nutritional counseling. Her motto – to weave the warp and weft of life to create and re-create a tapestry of hope, love and cheer.
