Satyajit Das
Satyajit Das,was born and brought up in a nondescript tinsel town: Rangapara of the district of Sonitpur in the state of Assam. He is a Central Government Employee by profession and a poet by passion. He writes poem in English as well as Bengali since his school days. Poetry is his passion and comes to him spontaneously. He has to his credit nearly 300 poems. His poems cover Naturalism, Romanticism, Materialism and above all Spiritualism with wide range of subjects. You will get taste and touch of human psychology, economics, polity, environment not to speak of life on Earth and its relation to Nature and its objects. While most of his poems are in rhythmic verse which is felt to be out-dated, some are written in open verse, which is the norm of the day. He can’t help admitting his preference to rhythmic verse over open verse. This is not without reason. He feels there is rhythm in every walk of life, in Nature and its object and poetry is the expression of this rhythm in word.
Life is a Journey. You have sweet, sour, bitter and hot experiences in your walk of life. Realm of Life is a humble effort to portray these various experiences of life.
