Rajendra K Padhi
Prof. Rajendra K. Padhi is the recipient of Universal Inspirational Poetry Award (2016) by the World Friendship Poetry Meet, Ghana; International Poesies Award; Award for Literary Excellence in Gujarat Poetry Meet and many more awards and felicitations. His poems have been featured in more than fifty international anthologies and magazines from different countries. He is editor of more than five international anthologies. He has written reviews, blurbs, preface and introductions of many books. His interviews have been published in magazines from USA, TV Africa, featured as the Year of the Poet 2014, USA. So far he has published four poetry books – O Earth! (2010) The Living Touch (2009) Songs of Void (2008), Sunyatara Priyatama (2008) – and a novel in English entitled The Dark Hours (2013). Reflections is his fifth book of poetry. His articles on education and literature have been published in several magazines. He was born at Padampur in the district of Bargarh, Odisha in 1963. He has translated the Mahimandala Gita and Biography of Saint Arakhita Das into English.
