Raj Sharma
Dr. Raj Sharma was associated with teaching of English language and literature for forty years, heading the Department of English at Govt Postgraduate College, Indore. He (Ph.D. 1965) also headed the research faculty of Devi Ahilya University, Indore where he supervised research for Ph.D. and M.Phil.
He was a Visiting Professor at University of Florida, Gainesville, USAfora semester and at University of Basra, Iraq for 3 years.
Published work includes a collection of short stories, IN MY ARMS (Writers Workshop, Calcutta) and a chapbook of poems, “April in the Alleghenies” (Red Ochre Press, USA).
In addition, forty poems and short stories have appeared in US magazines like SN Review, The Monarch Review, Grey Sparrow, Folly, South Jersey Underground, JD Review, The Fine Line, TWJ Magazine, The Missing Slate, Exercise Bowler, Rock and Sling, Ascent Aspirations (Canada), Dr TJ Eclkeburg Review, New Mercury Magazine, The American Aestheticetc.
Over adozen short stories have also appeared in Indian magazines like Femina, Eve’s Weekly, Woman’s Era, Alive, Youth Times etc.
