Dr. S. Barathi is an Assistant Professor of English and Research Supervisor at Srinivasa Ramanujan Centre, SASTRA University, Kumbakonam, Tamilnadu, India. She has completed her Masters degree in Environmental Sciences at Bharathiyar University, Coimbatore and also cleared UGC-NET for the same. She has another Postgraduate degree in English, M. Phil in English and Post-Doctoral degree from Annamalai University, Chidambaram. She is a reviewer and critic who has published innumerable research papers in reputed international refereed journals. She has also published several poems in various anthologies. This is her maiden attempt in editing a book of critical articles. She is a reviewer for the journals Writers Editors and Critics (WEC)and International Journal on Multicultural Literature (IJML). She is also a Sub Editorial Committee member of Literary Confluence.
