Reaney stands tall, majestic and timeless, too vast to becritiqued or concluded. This book attempts to peep into the Reaneyan world. It limits its scope to studying various social-psychological patterns as they emerge out of the communities and individuals Reaney projects in his oeuvres. The offers a comprehensive study of Reaney’s communities, individuals, socio-cultural trends, political upheavals and religious/sectarian feudsand the influence of these factors on thepsyche of his characters inhabiting the Southwest Ontario region in Canada.
