OPINIONS

“The poems in Epistles: Poems of Love and Longing carry us back into the golden age of romantic poetry while its metaphors have a touch of our own time. These poems that celebrate love at its most palpable are invitingly sensuous and immediate in their appeal to the heart. They portray love 'the potent victor of time' in all its colourful vivacity.”

K. Satchidanandan

Noted Poet, India

“This latest book of Kanwar Dinesh Singh is a veritable treasure chest ofheart-stirring love poems. It is of the same calibre as Walter Benton’s best-selling classic, This Is My Beloved. A stunning and remarkable achievement, indeed.”

About the Book

Epistles: Poems of Love and Longing takes the reader on an emotive journey through life’s countless spirit-lifting triumphs and inevitable trials in the throes of cosmic love. These intimate letters in poetic form reveal a heart-felt narrative that jolts the depth of one’s psyche and heart wide awake. Through Kanwar Dinesh Singh’s eloquent use of alliterative lines, striking stanzas, and lulling metaphors, this ultimate awakening of the senses gains momentum page by page. Both insightful and equally as expressive, this mystic poet invites you to lose the notion of all things superficial and trivial, so you can discover what really matters in this life: ever-pervading, unconditional love at a soul-level. By book’s end, you will hold in your hands not a typical collection of poems, but a one-of-a-kind transformational conglomeration of letters that you won’t soon forget.
