About the Book

The theme of Rupesh’s poetry is divinity, love, patriotism and intense emotion for the beloved, which manifests itself in various symbols of nature especially flowers. The Godhead is sought in various ways; eternity is a dream which the poet wants to capture by the wings of poesy. The poems are lyrical and musical. Versification and diction are lucid succinct to understand. Enduring Pain & Other poems reveals the emotional intensity of the poet; he is searching the beloved, divine and mortal everywhere. His restless pining and quest make him wander among the mountains, stars, rivers, valleys, meadows and flowers filled fields, down the labyrinthine pains of his own anguish filled heart and soul. The agony of rejection seems to shadow the scene of love and quest. The quest remains a quest and the poet is in despair, the lover is longing eternally.
