Crafting abstract and with no gobbledygook was unique to Pramod Panigrahi’s style and substance. A lot resting on human emotions, he ventured into the realms of nature and related episodic subjects with a rare ease, otherwise difficult to master. It came natural to him. It was also natural that he was reserved, a bit reticent, though he was hailed as one of the strongest expressionists of his genre of writing, since the 60s Odisha, modern and experimenting.
Pramod is a miscellany of his writings in various forms and two languages – Odia and English. One of the few writers from Odisha who possessed anenviable grip on both the languages. This compendium is celebrating Pramod, his writings without any hangover from his jurist tidings. His diverse interests including theatre, films, column writings have not influenced this collection, besides the fact that his fame as an aesthete and a debonair remains unaffected and so his soul.
