About Dr. K. Sabukuttan
Dr. K. Sabukuttan has completed M.A History, MPhil History, PhD(History),M.A Politics, M.A. Sociology, M.A. Philosophy and Diploma in TCI. He is serving as Head of the Department of Life Long Learning & Extension, M.G. University, Kottayam.He is aResearch Guide in School of Gandhian Thought and Development Studies and also serving as Programme Co-ordinator of the National Service Scheme of M. G. University. He has authored two books:C. Krishnan and Social Change in Kerala and Adult Education and Personal Development. He has membership in several professional bodies/Govt. support bodies/ R & D agencies. He has published more than 20 papers in books/journals of National and International importance. He is the recipient of the Indira Gandhi National Service Scheme Award Twice from the Hon’ble President of India.He is the recipient of the State Govt. Award from the Department of Higher Education six times. He has received Sarojini Damodaran Foundation Award twice for the incredible contribution towards the propagation of Organic Farming. He has received IPCAI National Award for the outstanding contributions in the field of Community Organisation through National Service Scheme of Mahatma Gandhi University in November 2016. He is the recipient of the Youth Promotion Award 2014 from the Centre for Research and Action (CIRA) in recognition of Significant Contribution in the field of Youth Development. He has receivedCertificate of Honour for the incredible contributions in Social Service for the years 2012-13, 2013-14 and 2014-15 by Kerala Action Force, Anwar Pain and Palliative Care and IMA Madhya Kerala. He is the recipient of the Life time Achievement Award 2014 for promotion of Yoga and Naturopathy from the Indian Martial Arts Academy Thrissur, Kerala. He has also received the Kamaladalam Award in 2016. He has received “Synergy Award” in 2016. He has 27 years of teaching experience in higher education field. He has motivated, trained and guided 900 programme officers (faculty members) of the affiliated colleges under Mahatma Gandhi University and 2000 NSS Volunteer Secretaries of the 100 affiliated colleges of Mahatma Gandhi University. He served as the Resource Person in the Empanelled Training Center, Rajagiri, Ernakulam the only training centre in Kerala for National Service Scheme Programme Officer of all universities and Directorate of Kerala. He has guided 30 projects of the Post graduate students of the University of Kerala. He has 9 years experience as the Programme Co-ordinator of Mahatma Gandhi University, 9 years experience as the Assistant Director, Department of Adult Continuing Education/Department of Lifelong Learning and Extension and 1 year experience as the Students Services Director of Mahatma Gandhi University. He has 12 years experience as Academic Counsellor at the Indira Gandhi Open University Study Centre, Kollam, 2years experience as Co-ordinator, Institute of Distance Education, Study Centre, Kollam and 8 years experience as National Service Scheme, Programme Officer at S.N. Colleges under the University of Kerala.

Ms. Asmy Antony K A was born on 24th April 1987 at Ernakulam, Kerala. She completed her post-graduation from U C College Aluva in the year 2009.Now she is working as an Assistant professor in the department of Chemistry of St.Xavier’s College for women Aluva. She has four years of experience in the present post. She is now pursuing her Ph.D in Polymer Chemistry. She has one on-going minor project funded by UGC. She is serving as National Service Scheme Programme Officer for the last two years. She is one of the pilot facilitators of Active Citizen Programme of British Council in India.
Brief-Bio Of Dr. Resmi Varghese
Dr. Resmi Varghese had her M.Sc. in Mathematics from CUSAT, M.Phil from M.K. University, and had her Doctorate Degree in Stochastic Modelling from CUSAT. She worked as Assistant Professor in Mathematics at Amal Jyothi College of Engineering, Kanjirapally and also at Federal Institute of Science & Technology, Mookkannoor. Now she works as Assistant Professor in Mathematics as well as NSS Programme Officer at St. Xavier’s College for Women, Aluva. She has a total teaching experience of 16 years in her credit. She is the recipient of “Outstanding Personality Award” in the year 2016, instituted by social activists in Aluva, which they give for the persons who render commendable contributions in the divine line of social service. She is the recipient of “Certificate of Appreciation” as NSS Programme Officer, from M. G. University in 2016. Dr. Resmi Varghese has been extending her service to society as one among the 16 NSS Programme Officers in India who were trained as “Active Citizen Facilitator” of British Council’s Active Citizen Programme which aims at connecting people around the world who works to make a positive change in their society. Dr. Resmi Varghese is the co-author of two books Project Management and Infinitude: Frontiers of Research in Mathematics, Statistics & Computer Science.
Dr. N. Vijayakumar is the in-charge of Regional Blood Transfusion Centre, Regional Dialysis Centre & Haemophilia Treatment Centre, District Hospital, Aluva. RBTC Aluva is the first in the State to be recognized as RBTC in the state (2001), the first in Kerala Health Services to be licensed for blood component separation (2002), the first to be recognized by the Government of Kerala as Training Centre for Blood Bank Technicians & Medical Officers (2005) and the only one in the public sector to be accredited by N.A.B.H. Dr. N. Vijayakumar is a member of the Governing Body of State Blood Transfusion Council from the beginning, a designated Transfusion Expert of NACO, KSACS, Drugs Controller General of India and Assessor of N.A.B.H. He was honoured by the State Government with Best Doctor Awards twice (1999 & 2009) and Mission Good Governance Award (2004). He has received Special Awards of Honour in recognition of his services in the development of the first R.B.T.C with Component Separation facility – 2005, Dialysis Centre (that completed 60000 quality dialyses already) - 2011 and the only Comprehensive Haemophilia Care Centre in the state (with 714 patients) – 2014. Indian Medical Association conferred on him two National Awards at its National Conferences at Jaipur & Rajamundhry. The awards include IMA Special Award for Eminent Medical Men for Distinguished Achievement of the Highest Order (2010) & National Award for Individuals for Exemplary Service (2013). He was the Vice President of Indian Academy of Paediatrics (2003-2004) and President of ISBTI (Kerala) – 2006-2008. Now Dr. N. Vijayakumar is the Chairman of the Blood Bank Committee of IMA_KSB and Member of National Committee. He is also a member of the National Medical Advisory Board of Haemophilia Federation of India. Indian Society of Blood Transfusion & Immunohaematology conferred on him the A.N. Kasyap Award at its National Conference New Delhi (2009). He was Medical Superintendent of the Government Hospital Aluva till 2005.
