Dr. Rashmi Jain has thoroughly explored thematic concerns and dramatic techniques in her book entitled Mahesh Dattani Where There’s a Will: A Critical Study. She has beautifully analyzed all the characters in the play with great insight into human nature. The basic human weaknesses like greed for money, hunger for power, extra marital affairs etc. has been touched upon. Changing dimension of relationship-some simple and some complicated has also been explored. Taking all this into consideration I strongly feel that the book is a landmark in the history of Indian English Literature.
