The present study of the poetic genius of the highly celebrated poet of the Indian English Poetry, Jayanta Mahapatra, is a deep and serious reflection on the poetic art to reveal fresh perspectives. Prof. Bhushan’s chief focus here is on the historical, socio-cultural, religious and political concerns of Jayanta Mahapatra in view of his admirable, honest and bold convictions and commitment to art.
