I grew up in a remote village in Odisha. In prime youth I met my sensory in the high lands, rivers and indigenous cultures found in the forests and mountains of Odisha and Assam. I began writing poetry and short stories while in school and college, and published in school and college magazines and latter in national dailies and periodicals. During the years, travelling occupied my poetry and I met people and cultures around the globe which inspired to write with new themes and experiment new techniques. Love poetry in Night is a Black Magic is an outcome of this rough garage. I would continue finding causes for social and cultural changes in my writings. I always believed that art and creativity has many folds of responsibilities.
