Neeti Roy earned her Master’s in English Literature in 2008 from Patna University, Bihar, India. She has also earned her M. Phil (Linguistics) degree in 2009 from Nagaland State University, India. She has taught English as a subject in different schools and degree colleges for over six years in India. There are over a dozen articles/research papers on different aspects of English literature and teaching of English to her credit including two of them constituting the chapters of ISBN books. She has been associated with the academic activities of a few NGOs in India. She has participated in various national and regional level academic seminars and workshops in India.
She also earned Fulbright Scholarship for a year at Stanford University, California, USA, She has performed teaching and provided her assistance in teaching of Hindi as a second language in the Special Language Department in Stanford University, California. She helped in organizing Indian cultural events and conversational gatherings as a part of her academic venture. Currently she is associated with a NGO working in the field of Girls Education and Women Empowerment.
