Parneet Jaggi teaches English in Dr. Bhim Rao Ambedkar Government College in Sri Ganganagar, Rajasthan, India. She has a collection of poems in English— Euphonies of Heart and Soul, published in 2013 (Cyberwit, Allahabad). Her poems have been published in journals like The Enchanting Verses International Journal, Contemporary Literary Review India, the Taj Mahal Review, the Criterion etc. Her book on Sikh Ethics, Social and Economic Values in the Teachings of Sikh Gurus (2014), looks into the basic postulates of the Sikh religion and the ethics advocated by the Gurus.
She worked on Matthew Arnold and the East: A Study of His Poetry for her doctoral dissertation from Kurukshetra University, in which influences of the Bhagavad Gita and the Buddhist philosophy were traced out. A Gold medalist from Punjab University, Chandigarh, she did her Honours in Indian classical music. She is a lover of religion, music and poetry.
