Neelam Saxena Chandra completed Her Engineering In Electronics & Power Engineering From V.N.I.T., Nagpur And Went On To Finish PG Diploma In I.M & HRD And PG V In Finance Management. At Present, She Is Working For The Indian Railways. Writing Poetry And Fiction Is Her Passion. More Than Five Hundred Of Her Stories/poems Have Been Published In Various Leading Indian as Well As International Magazines.

One Novel Has Been Published By Pageturn Publishers. Two Poetry Books Have Been Published – Hues Of Love by Writers Empire And Silhouettes Of Reflections by YS Books International. Three Children’s Books Have Also Been Published. Eight More Books Are Under Publication Including Two Novels By LIFI Publications, Four Picture Books By Rajkamal Publications And Two Story Books For Children. Her Work Has Been Published In Various International Anthologies And One Of Her Stories Won An Award In A Contest Organized By Children Book Trust, India In 2009.

She Also Received Second Prize From Eminent Poet/lyricist Gulzarji In A Poetry Contest Organized By American Society On The Topic ‘Poetry For Social Change’. Her book, Tales From Sundervan Has Been Included In The Longlist In Children’s Category Of The Economist Crossword Book Award. The Book Sundervan Ki Kahaniyan has Been Awarded Premchand Puraskar By Ministry Of Railways (II Prize). She Also Debuted As A Lyricist In Shankar Tucker’s Composition Mere Sajan Sun Sun at The Link http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=auRmXTmVwrY and The Song Has Won The Popular Choice Award  in Folk Fusion Category In Radio City Freedom Award.
