Mrs Namita Rani Panda is a poet, translator and story writer. She is born on 10th January 1965 in Sambalpur district of Odisha, India. Now she works as a Post Graduate Teacher in English in Navodaya Vidyalaya, Khordha, Odisha, under the Ministry of HRD, Department of School Education and Literacy, Govt. of India, New Delhi. She has been in this teaching profession since 1988. Her educational qualification is M.Phil (English), M.Ed. She has completed her Post Graduation from Sambalpur University, Jyotivihar. Her poems are widely published in many national and international journals. She has won many poetry competitions in different Facebook groups. She is a regular contributor to the online poetry site www.poemhunter.com and an active member of various poetic groups in Facebook. Navodaya Vidyalaya Samiti, Bhopal has conferred on her Academic Excellence Award 2017 for her outstanding performance as a subject teacher. Her feminist voice is very much straight and crystal clear in most of her works. She proclaims her voice boldly against social injustices and inequalities. She glorifies universal brotherhood, sense of patriotism, love of life, Nature and peace. With her depth of knowledge and word power she has presented some characters of Hindu Mythologies from the angle of a 21st century woman, with a crave for life of liberty with dignity.
