Hem Raj Bansal is Assistant Professor of English in the Department of English and European Languages, Central University of Himachal Pradesh, Dharamshala. Recipient of the Best Research Paper Award in a Seminar on Shakespeare in 2015, Bansal has also been awarded Library Fellowship by the Forum on Contemporary Theory, Baroda during June-July 2009. He has numerous research articles to his credit and has presented papers in several national and international conferences. His has co-edited a book entitled Mapping Diaspora Identities: India and Beyond (Anamika 2017). As a poet, Bansal writes both in English as well as Hindi, and his debut collections shall be soon out. His areas of interest include Diaspora Writings, Australian Aboriginal Literature, Indo-Canadian Drama, Postcolonial Literature, World Literature, and Communication Skills.
